Soccer Champs: The Game that Lets You Manage Your Own Team and Win Trophies
The Lewiston Blue Devil soccer team was recognized in the Legislature on March 8 for winning the 2015 Class A state championship. The team, led by Coach Mike McGraw, won its first ever state championship and finished the season a perfect 18-0.

The beginning of the 2018-19 school year was not easy for the Cole Middle School community. As many of you know, a student was severely injured, and the effects were felt by students, staff, and families alike. But in spite of this adversity, a beautiful story arose from one special group that showed incredible courage and resilience. They are the two-time consecutive championship winning Cole Middle School soccer team!
We sat down with Cole 8th graders Moses, Angel, and Luis, along with their soccer coach and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Cole MS, Sevve Stember, to hear their story. Having the opportunity to play helped the students persevere through adversity. Luis shared that he loves soccer because he can lay out all of this emotions on the field and play with his friends, and Angel said that while the beginning of the season was hard, getting through all of it and winning the championships gave him more confidence in himself.
The Crusaders went back-to-back in the N.C. High School Athletic Association 1A girls soccer title with a 1-0 win over Woods Charter on Sunday at UNC-Greensboro after the game, originally scheduled for Saturday night, was suspended due to weather.
Below is an in-depth season preview: The Bucknell women's soccer team is coming off what many consider to be its greatest season in program history. The Bison set school records in wins (16) and win percentage (.850), hoisting their third Patriot League trophy and earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005.
With all of the team's success last season, the Bison were able to accomplish it all with just four senior starters: forward Alexis Gannon, midfielder Cora Climo, right back Kelsey Witt and goalkeeper Jessica Ratner. Bucknell returns seven starters from last season's championship team, five of whom were on All-Patriot League Teams, and 45 of its 51 goals, eighth-most in the country last year. With plenty of reason to believe the Bison will repeat as league champs, head coach Kelly Cook knows each year is different than the last.
Ham is perhaps the most feared striker in the Patriot League last year, leading the league in points (35), and goals (15) and game-winning goals (5) en route to being named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year. Recently named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, Ham earned First Team All-Mid-Atlantic-Region honors last season while becoming the first Bison women's soccer player ever to receive All-America recognition. She was named Preseason Offensive Player of the Year for a second consecutive season.
"I've been waiting," said Delgado, who led the Hens with 12 goals this season and set the UD career goals and points scored records late in the season. "I've been here three times (in the final) and another time in the semifinal. I've been working hard. I think this is the best feeling I could have playing college soccer."

Roselle, that is indeed a wonderful legacy for that group. A quick question: when you list the three college commits, does that mean those three have been recruited by those schools and are expected to play varsity soccer there? If so, that is impressive too.
When the Lewisburg Green Dragons scored a goal during Saturday's state soccer championship game against the Quaker Valley School District near Pittsburgh, little did they know how important that goal would be.
"We've built such a friendship, not just on the soccer field but we're all friends off the soccer field. On the field, I think we have great chemistry together and I think that really helped us to achieve what we wanted to this season," Bhangdia said.
