It is about the great Kalidas Nanda (Shantipriya), a master of Indian classical music, and an unconventional family of colorful characters in a village. Anand Vastrakar, son of Nanda, is the protagonist of the story, who saves the village from monsters. A mute girl is in love with Anand, but he is unaware of this, as he does not see her, and at a crucial moment, too. Also, the person behind the monsters, Jigar, is out to kill Anand. A twist in the tale is when Anand learns that he is the reincarnation of a celebrated violinist Drupada, the father of the hero of the western movie, and a moral tug of war breaks out. Who will take the place of Drupada and his violin in the mess that is about to happen? Jayanta Vastrakar is an original character in the film. He is a die-hard Indian classical music fan, who is clueless about the music in the western movie he is watching! The music produced by the band in the western film has been borrowed from Bollywood movies, to which he is very much averse. He is changed to a mute, but learns to speak at a crucial point. Shantipriya plays his loving wife, who wants him to sing his famous songs, but he is unable to and ends up killing people.
